When I was 8 years old I was in a car wreck that put me in a wheelchair for a year and a half. I was put in the Special Education classes for that time. My friends quickly left and I grew attached to the kids that were in my class. After I started walking again I decided to start helping those kids. I've volunteered for Special Olympics for nine years now. I have also worked for families of some of those kids and adults for four years including respite work.
