Hi! Affable, warm and authentic human who loves connecting with people and getting to know them. I love working with seniors because they have a unique perspective, we can all learn from them and they have wonderful stories to tell! I have several years of experience caring for older folks in my family, and when I was younger volunteered in a nursing home to be a companion to several residents. I'm also very much open to cooking meals as I am a retired cook/sous chef/pastry chef with over 15 years in the restaurant industry. My specialties are nourishing comfort food, breakfast, cold salads with grains and greens, muffins, cookies, quick breads, seafood, soups and stews, focaccia and pasta dishes. Happy to make meals, do some light housekeeping, chat, write letters (I have excellent penmanship!), read and play board games.
