About Danielle

I earned my Ph. D. in English from the University of Notre Dame, where I taught courses in writing & rhetoric and gender studies. Currently in a period of professional transition between academic publishing and grant writing, I enjoy working with children & adolescents and sharing my love of reading & writing. I am prepared especially to assist middle, high school, and college students with reading comprehension, critical thinking, and writing skills and in the following subject areas: English, history, sociology. I remain quite proficient in Spanish, but it's not a language I have used or studied regularly in the past decade.
