About Danielle

Hello! Aside from babysitting and special needs care, I am also experienced with elder care. I worked as an in-home caregiver for an elderly woman with Alzheimer's disease and also for a woman suffering from dementia. (Both of these positions were full-time for three years.) The woman with dementia was my latest position and just ended as of 7/1/22. Her son decided to move her closer to him but I have cared for her for the last 3 years, living in her home for about half. I also worked for a delightful woman who unfortunately was dealing with multiple medical conditions, including COPD, diabetes, and edema. I assisted her with medical needs (including wound care and checking blood-glucose levels), managing medications, driving to/from doctor's appointments, toileting, bathing, hygiene (oral and peri care), etc... I cared for her until her passing and became very close with her and her family. I truly enjoy helping others, especially those who simply cannot otherwise help themselves.
