Former preschool teacher and Special Ed Para Educator. Became a nanny a couple of years ago. Creating enriching opportunities, helping littles find the magic in the world around them, and watching them grow and flourish is my passion.

Danielle has been our family Nanny for just a little under 2 years now. Danielle came into our lives after my first husband passed away in January of 2022 unexpectedly, leaving me behind with a 5 year old and 11 month old (both boys). I put a post out on several nanny search pages on social media and after a few failed interviews, Danielle reached out and we just connected. I really needed someone who could take some of the load off but also exist with me within my own home and not take up too much space mentally. I was still grieving and needed to feel comfortable doing that around whoever was going to be in my home. Danielle is a unicorn. She read my post and quit her job as a middle school special needs teacher to come help take care of my children. She came with incredible references from 2 people I knew in my neighborhood. One being a co-worker of Danielle’s at the middle school she worked at. She had mentioned to him that she interviewed with a family in his neighborhood for a nanny position. My neighbor came over that day, knocked on my door and just sang her praises. His exact words were “she is an angel and I would trust her with my kids in a heartbeat. Most patient person I have ever met.”. I knew from the moment I interviewed Danielle, she was going to be a perfect fit. She is so wonderful with my two boys. She mostly helps me with my 2.5 year old, but occasionally has my 7 year old as well. Her patience is unmatched. She interacts with them, reads stories during lunch time, while sitting on the potty, and before nap. She brings fun crafts for the boys to do and is always down for some lego building or sensory play. I have never once seen her use screen time or tablets to entertain my children unless I give permission on days where they are under the weather. She refuses to watch TV herself, even when my 2.5 year old is napping. Not only does she help with household chores like unloading the dishwasher and doing laundry, she is wonderful when it comes to giving my children fun experiences. Whether it's a trip to the park, library, Zoo, Discovery Center, or the Children’s Museum, she sure knows how to make their little lives fun and full of educational experiences. She is friendly, soft-spoken, and easy to be around. We have fun conversations when I am at home and she manages to make me laugh often. I am now remarried to a wonderful man who also has 2 boys (11 & 15). Danielle manages our chaotic and sarcastic family with grace and ease and joins in on the banter often. She goes with the flow and I never have to ask her to do things that I’d like done. She just does them and it has made life so much easier. My 2.5 year old is now old enough to start attending a daycare for more socialization with children his own age which is literally the ONLY reason I am writing this review. Danielle has become a member of our family and we all love her unconditionally. She was even in our wedding, helping my boys down the aisle as ring bearers. She will still be working with us for date nights and the occasional day I need help. She is one of the only people I have complete and utter trust in watching and caring for my children. Danielle is never late and in the extremely rare instances she has been, she communicates it as soon as possible and the circumstances have always been out of her control. She has been utterly consistent with the schedule we agreed to and there have been few instances where she has had to reschedule which was something that was really important to me personally when hiring a Nanny. When she asks for days off (a very rare event), she gives plenty of notice and is flexible with my schedule as well. Our family was so blessed to have found Danielle. I am forever grateful for all of the love, affection, and attention she has given to my boys these past 2 years and look forward to seeing her bless another family with her unicorn dust and continuing to stay a part of our lives as well. She has become a true friend and someone we will always call family. You will not find a more qualified, capable, and reliable Nanny.
