I'm a childcare student with a passion for helping children grow and develop. I have two years of experience caring for children and have a background in Early Childhood Education, including coursework in Early Child Development. I am CPR-trained and am constantly seeking ways to enhance my knowledge and skills. My personality is patient, calm, creative, and friendly, which allows me to connect with children and make them feel comfortable. When communicating with parents, I use written daily reports and follow their preferred communication method to ensure they are well-informed about their child's day and any issues that may arise. I believe in following the parents' lead when enforcing household rules and am flexible in my approach to childcare, adapting my methods to meet the specific needs of each child and family. I enjoy playing various games with children, including outdoor sports, board games, puzzles, and technology-based games and apps.
