I have worked closely with students who have disabilities throughout my life. I am a certified Special Education teacher who is currently working as a Third Grade teacher in an inclusive classroom. I am also currently tutoring a Kindergarten student with Down Syndrome after school. I love creating fun ways of learning for my special need students. I enjoy thinking outside of the box to find ways to make it fun and educational. For instance, for the girl I tutor with DS we are doing Yoga for short breaks in between lessons. I also bring plenty of manipulative for her to work with from my classroom.
