About Daniel

For the past two decades I've tutored students in grade school, middle school, high school and college. While mostly focusing on reading and writing, I've also taught test-taking strategies as well as other general academic areas. Leading with a compassionate approach, I create challenging, invigorating, and nurturing learning environments in which students are tasked to express themselves meaningfully and articulately through speech and writing. I assess each student's needs and tailor-make lesson plans accordingly. I earned a master's in English literature in 2006 and a master's in creative writing in 2020. I have taught composition, literature, poetry, and creative writing at San Francisco State University, Temple University, Rowan University, and the University of Delaware.
