About Daniela

I first got into pet care in my junior year of high school. I would walk to the animal shelter after school every day to volunteer with the adoptable cats in my town's local shelter (Montclair, nj). I had helped raise my family's dogs, and I had experience caring for my late cat, but before the shelter, I never experienced the rigor and pressure of caring for large groups of animals, and socializing with nervous and at times, feral, animals. I am now in my 2nd year at NYU, majoring in Politics with a minor in animal studies. I still go back home every weekend to volunteer at my hometown shelter, where I run engagement programs that bring kids into the shelter for reading. I have 1 cat (who was a foster fail) and unfortunately, she does not get along well with other animals, so I cannot accommodate boarding. I have tons of experience walking dogs, pet sitting and caring for animals in every way! I'd describe my personality as passionate, caring and curious!
