I'd describe my personality as outgoing, energetic, happy I like caring for seniors because it allows you to make a meaningful difference in someone's life by providing compassion, support, and companionship, often giving you a sense of fulfillment while learning from their life experiences & building personal connections with them. I'm looking for a job that is the right fit for both myself and my patient. I started caring for seniors when an elderly neighbor broke his hip. The in home agency weren't exercising him and were demeaning. I had him up & walking in the pool within a week. I also did light housework, helped him with personal hygiene, managed his meds and healthcare, took him to doctors appointments, etc. It was a mutually rewarding relationship. One thing you should know about me is that I am an experienced RN and have worked in the ER Trauma dept for 20 years. I enjoy a job that is a little less "intense" :) My skills include knowledge, experience, compassion
