About Danette

When I took care of my grandmother I knew that in order for her to have a good, positive day, I needed to be patient, allow her to go at her own pace through the day, and to be an attentive listener. I learned a great deal from her about her faith, her family history, cooking, and her sense of humor. I was raised on a farm with horses, cats, cattle, chickens, pigs, and a dog. I learned a great deal about work-ethic and responsibility. I am a retired teacher and school counselor. I enjoy cooking and baking.
