I'd describe my personality as upbeat, empathetic & easy going. I like caring for seniors because I was close with my grandparents & learned how to appreciate seniors. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my experience caring for the seniors in my family enabling them to stay in the living situation of their choosing rather than being forced into care due to lack of support. I started caring for seniors in 2002 when my mother in law developed dementia and continued to care for 3 other family members over the years. In my spare time, I like to garden and craft. One thing you should know about me is I know the feeling of being alone with trying to manage the needs of seniors, not having the answers or the time or the ability to handle it all. I'd like to help. My skills include dementia care, cooking, cleaning.
