Thank you for taking the time to read about me. I am a 38-year-old mother of three children. My children are avid animal lovers, as are my husband and I. We see pet care as not only a benefit for my husband and I, but also for our kids. Our 12-year-old daughter wants to work with animals as a career and is very interested in coming along and helping. She's an affectionate and gentle soul with animals and is so excited to be a part of their care. The most relevant job I've had related to pet care was basically our commitment to strays. For several years, my husband and I took in just about any stray we saw needing a home. We brought several abused dogs back to health and found homes for them, we helped deliver several litters of kittens and puppies of strays. For this reason we have experience such as bottle feeding, weaning, administering medication, and bringing strays from rabid and wild to domesticated and loving. We are avid watchers of The Dog Whisperer and definitely agree with this approach.
