About Dana

Personal: I love spending time anywhere outdoors and around the water. I enjoy being comfortable inside with a book, show, or a project. I love to read, write, color, and cook. I have over 7 years of professional experience with all ages of people in special- and public-education settings. I have experience with a wide array of individuals and abilities. It is easy for me to build relationships with others, especially children, and I love to play, learn, and teach. I am very comfortable with various ADLs that others may require help with such as diapering/toileting, feeding, and working on acquiring skills in general. I especially enjoy language acquisition and foundational skills for play and social. I have a BA in Speech-Language and Hearing Sciences, and a MS in Applied Behavior Analysis Psychology. I've spent time working in various avenues of human services, and am ready to slow down my pace, providing more focused and individualized support to young families in their homes.
