About Dana

Hi there! I am currently pursuing my degree in Special Education and I have been lucky enough to work with kids through schools, camps, and many other opportunities! I am passionate about the growth of young minds and fostering a positive impact on their lives and I see it as a necessity for our youth. I have many years of experience and I am patient, friendly, and adaptable. I love to create nurturing environments for children of any age and even teenagers. I enjoy being active and spending time outside as well as reading. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating regularly with parents to ensure their peace of mind. I have CPR training, and am First Aid certified. I was a lifeguard at a state beach in CT about two summers ago so I am very comfortable monitoring water safety as well. I am comfortable caring for two children at a time but am totally willing to take on more if it's the right fit! I look forward to getting to know your family!
