About Dana

I like working with kids because they provide me with a new perspective on the world. At times brutally honest, children don't change themselves to fit into the world. They're honest and true to themselves. I admire kids greatly for this trait. I've been working with kids since middle school when I began working as a teacher's assistant at my religious school. I also have four summers of camp counselor experience all while I've continued to participate at my temple. Meanwhile, babysitting has been part of my life for about three years now having connected with families through summer camp. For fun, I love to read and write; I find value in hobbies that help me learn about the world and adapt new perspectives. Being open minded and empathetic is crucial to understanding new people and I do what I can to embody these virtues.
