About Dana

I have always loved spending time with kids. I love their inherent curiosity about the world and their openness to new experiences and ideas. My experience in childcare began with babysitting during my middle school years. I took a child-safety class through the American Red Cross and spent many fun-filled evenings and weekends trying out the fun activities I had planned. My junior year of high school, an opportunity opened up for me to become a nanny for a home schooling family, with 4 kids. I was able to help the kids with their school work, set up fun games filled with learning, and create amazing bonds with each amazing little one. I also helped around the house with cleaning, cooking, and running errands. There was never a time when I didn't learn. Since living in Flagstaff, I've worked as a head teacher at a local preschool, and nannied for a family of 7 kids. Allowing lots of practice with problem solving, gentle re-direction, and multitasking.
