About Dana

I began childcare when I was 14, I have since become passionate about careers in childcare and helping birthers and guardians. Have experience as a live in nanny, live out nanny, a child care provider, teachers assistant, lead teacher for infant, toddler, and primary aged children. I worked for a nonprofit Montessori preschool in Springfield Oregon from Sep 2015 to April 2018. I am teacher certified in Oregon. I am CPR and first aid trained for infants and adults, I have a food handlers card, college educated in child development and education and have completed criminal background check and fingerprinted for a volunteer childcare job at our local Community Center. When caring for children I like to discover their interests and try to feed the spark or try and spark other interests for them to explore and play off of. I enjoy guiding children in art, music, and being outside playing as much as possible. I create a safe, fun and creative learning environment for children.
