About Damaris

I'd describe my personality as kind, responsible, and loving. I like working with kids because they're fun to be around. Being apart of their experience and them actually liking you, is a special moment. I'm looking for a job that values me. And has a safe environment. I started working with kids when I was 15 years old. It was at a catholic daycare center. I learned fast and got along with the children. The ages were 0 to 5 years old. After that experience, I got inspired to start a career as a caregiver. In my spare time, I like to meditate, practicing my breathing, read, and listen to podcasts. I also like to spend time with my husband and two children. One thing you should know about me is that I put children's safety first. And I express my caregiving with love, lots of it. Because I didn't have that growing up. So now I show it to my children and whoever I take care of. I'm also CPR and First Aid certified. My skills include multitasking, reliable, and I'm a fast learner.
