About Dale

My name is Dale and I am an experienced teacher, tutor and nanny. I have taught in elementary schools for three years now, my most recent full time position was as the Science teacher for TK-8th at a private school, which is to say I have a wide range of experience. I take a very creative and playful approach to fun child-friendly activities, I love nothing more than getting kids engaged with the great outdoors, art, or whatever creative expression calls to them. Outside the classroom I have a litany of other childcare and education experience, from outdoor education to tutoring to facilitating writing workshops for high schoolers, you name it, I've probably done it. I really treasure the impact one has on young minds as an educator and child carer, and I take this responsibility super seriously. Children are learning the world in every interaction, so it is our job as adults and caretakers to show them a kind, loving, ethical way to move through the world.
