About Dakota

Hello! My name is Dakota, and I am so excited to meet you! I have a wide variety of work experience and a nurturing personality. I am a Psychology major and am working toward my masters in Developmental Psychology. I have taken many childcare classes including classes in behavior and autism, child development, and psychology. My approach is definitely more toward Montessori style, I am gentle (yet not submissive) and I do my best to give children a safe person to help them learn to regulate their emotions, be kind to themselves and others, encourage their imagination, and make learning FUN :) I welcome any extra tasks, I have owned a cleaning business in the past, love to cook, and am happy to help in any way I can make your life less stressful. Some things about me- I love animals, being at the park or anywhere in nature, watching Disney movies/going to Disney, cooking, and reading!
