About Dakota

Throughout my middle and high school years, I volunteered at Hunt Club Farm and took on a passion for animals. I cared for, cleaned, and helped distribute medicine to all sorts of farm animals. My family and I decided to take this passion on for our own, and after four years have over 30 chickens and ducks. But we didn't stop there. We have two parakeets, dogs, a beloved hamster, hermit crabs, and of course little fish. We are looking to get pigmy goats as well! Other than home life with all these animals, I have had a few experiences with pet/house sitting. I've helped watch kids and pets with weeks worth of date nights, a sweet dog for a two-week trip, and multiple other instances. Overall, I find a passion with animals best and I enjoy all different types of critters! It is one of my retirement plans when I'm older to have a rehabilitation center down at our farm house.
