About Dagny

Hi! My name is Dagny, i'm 19 years old and graduated high school last spring. I took a gap year to work as a lead infant daycare teacher and have been there a little over a year now. I have 9-10 babies a day ages ranging 2- 16 months, so I have experience in every infant stage! i'm required to do a lot, not just meeting the needs of my babies but also keeping my room a safe and clean environment. i'm also doing curriculum throughout the day, while keeping my app updated with the babies needs, sending pictures to parents, and keeping everyone on their own schedule. I love my job so much but it's a lot. my daycares pay is awful, and unfortunately I can't keep working with the pay i'm getting. i'm working way long hours, on top of that extra time on the weekends trying to meet all the standards of kindercare's curriculum. all of that to say i'm very used to doing a lot at once and have lots of experience for how to care for babies!
