Hi I was born in California, but raised in Ireland. I have over 20 years experience as a Caregiver. I'm a very caring honest person with a good heart who loves helping people and animals. I worked for over 2 years for a wonderful family and my lovely lady I cared for was a double amputee , and have 10 years experience in caring for my mom in Ireland. I've worked the last few years caring for 4 veteran families in Nevada and private families in California. Duties includes light housework, companionship, showering, medications, hair, shopping, meal prep, Blood sugar check and administer insulin. Experienced with Diabetes, Dementia, Double Amputee, COPD, Asthma, Renal failure, Heart Failure, Alzheimer's. I also opened and managed a support group in Ireland for 2 years for people with Fibromyalgia. My goal is to support and help my clients. I have excellent references. Also love working with animals. Cindy was there for us during one of the hardest times in our lives. My father-in-law was unexpectedly diagnosed with Stage IV brain cancer in late July 2022 and we knew we would need help with his daily care. From the beginning she was a perfect fit for our family. Not only did she provide the care, help, and transportation that we needed, she did so with true compassion, empathy, and dignity for my father in law. She treated him not only as a client but as a true friend. She serves as an advocate, friend, and family for her clients; especially during trying times - helping him with his morning routines, taking him to his medical appointments, and keeping family members updated on his needs and condition. Unfortunately, his condition recently deteriorated, needing 24/7 care in a facility so we had to end our working relationship with Cindy, but she will always have a place in our home! To have Cindy in your life is a true blessing and any client should be grateful to have her!
