About Cynthia

I began teaching preschool and then worked for the City of Largo Outreach. I was a substitute teacher for middle school students, many of whom had learning disabilities. This experience allowed me to develop specialized teaching strategies that catered to the individual needs of each student, ensuring they had the support and encouragement to thrive academically and socially. I worked with high-level female students in a program that allowed them to attend school. My role involved providing individualized attention and creating an atmosphere where the young ladies could feel safe as they navigated personal challenges. I have worked as a Supported Living Coach, assisting adults with disabilities in achieving greater independence. In this role, I supported individuals in daily living activities, taught life skills, and helped to create personalized plans that aligned with their goals for personal growth and community involvement. I cared for four children over the past eight years.
