I have babysat since I was a teen (I am now 33). Throughout college I took coursework in early childhood development as I was planning to become an elementary school teacher. My plans did change and I ended up in the legal field instead but throughout I have always continued to babysit on and off for the same family as well as friends and family as needed. I do not yet have kids of my own but I've helped raise my stepdaughter since 6 (she's now 15) and have a niece (8) and nephew (4). I've pretty much always been around children without having my own and I love it. I'm newer to the area and just looking for something on the side as I work from home.
