About Cynthia

I am a caretaker of children because human connection and helping others to grow is where I shine brightest! I am routines-based and consistent by nature and love to interact verbally and playfully with children. Taking care of little ones is my 'happy place' and is the most meaningful work that I can imagine doing with my skill set. I'm a seasoned educator of languages and literacy, a mother of 18yo twins that was introduced to nannying as a child with my mother nannying out of our home. Home care support is included in my work because parents need those extra hands in the kitchen/laundry room! I grew up outside of Chicago, am doubly educated and have lived in or explored Mexico, Costa Rica and parts of Europe. I adore music, swimming and really all things outdoors and active! I take a gentle and attuned approach to caretaking - paying close attention to the child's/babie's verbal and nonverbal cues. With toddlers and beyond, my approach aligns closely with Montessori methods.
