I'd describe my personality as caring, compassionate and friendly It's rewarding to care for seniors because they need so much support of others. I love knowing that just the littlest things I can do makes a world of difference in someone's life. I'm looking for a job where I can use my abilities to make a difference, give hope, companionship and friendship. 10 years ago my mom started to decline in her mobility and cognitive abilities, I saw how difficult it was to find someone who was willing to care for her like I would. I ended up taking care of her full time until she passed away in April. I have tons of experience going through this journey with my mom. I would love to be that person again to someone else who needs it. In my spare time, I like to enjoy my family time, enjoying my pets, cooking and take short trips upstate and reading. I am reliable my skills include personal care , companionship, light housekeeping, some transportation, meal prep and laundry.
