Hi, my name is Cindy. I strongly believe that isolation in life, especially as we get older, can be harmful to our spirit, health and psyche. I have been told many times by clients and their families that I have a gift of compassion, laughter and the ability to listen deeply. These qualities validate people and create trust and friendship. I get great satisfaction in my life by helping and making friends. I have 2 awesome daughters. One is the mother of 2 little boys here in Fresno. The other works for an organization that develops youth leadership programs for low income youth. I'm so proud of them both. I have been working as a companion caregiver for the elderly in the Fresno area for 5 years. I feel like this is what I'm meant to do. Cindy (Cynthia) is an amazing woman. I am so glad we found her to help with my grandmothers care. My grandmother had stage 4 lung cancer and hospice had just came into the picture when we found Cindy on Care.com. Cindy was loving, caring, patient and an all around good person! She helped with everything my grandma needed, feeding, bathroom trips, diaper changes, talking to her. Pretty much everything you can think of. There is something warm about Cindy that makes you feel relaxed and comforted. I am so glad we met Cindy and that she helped us with overnight care as well as any other time we needed her. She was very flexible to our needs and always showed concern for not only my grandmas needs, but made me feel better when I would see and talk to her. Thank you Cindy for all you did!! Cindy would be a great help to anyone and everyone =)
