About Cynthia

Hello, I am 65 years young and keep myself very active and fit. I am a retired critical care RN and worked in Portland, OR for 35 yrs. I also have 14 years experience training dogs for two veterinarians in Portland. I am currently looking for a fun and fulfilling way to supplement my retirement. I have always loved children and raised 3 of my own. All 3 are college graduates and generally wonderful human beings! I moved to Spokane 4 years ago to live closer to my daughters' family and have been helping with childcare for my 2 grandchildren while my daughter works as a RN for a local hospital. As my grandchildren grow and become more independent, I am seeking part-time childcare work. I stay current on child development and parenting issues and take this work very seriously. People describe me as active, positive, caring, dependable, and organized. I have good communication skills and am my best self when I'm doing work that involves helping others.
