Cynthia worked for us for over a year, caring for our parents who both had different types of dementia. She always met each where they were. Cynthia is cheery, dependable and brilliantly adept at lifting everyone’s mood; she is entertaining and engaging and extremely tuned in to all safety protocols and equipment. She does not cut corners and is "on" for her entire shift. My father, his wife and Cynthia called themselves the "Three Musketeers" They told stories and laughed and free-associated in English accents every day that Cynthia was there. She read the paper to them and they discussed current events. I believe she kept them from declining as quickly with all of her efforts. They LOVED her and so did we! Cynthia is a super-professional; highly educated. She is knowledgeable about meds and their timing, nutrition and hydration. She was always successful at cajoling the reluctant parents into the shower and is conscientious about hygiene. She was always positive with the parents and had an excellent relationship and a deep friendship with them. Honestly she is one of the very best caregivers out there, and we are most grateful for her service.
