Nannies for a few families while my children were younger in my home. I'm experienced with special needs children. I grew up caretaking for my sister with complex medical needs. I learned how to straight cath at 12yrs old to help my mom care for her. My son has autism, so now I've had 10yrs of experience learning how to best navigate his world. I was a long term care certified nursing assistant and then worked at a psychiatric step down facility. I believe children learn through play. I treat them with dignity and understanding as a person searching for autonomy and agency when they lack the emotional intelligence and verbal skills to articulate their needs. I will treat your child as if my own.
