When my daughter was a toddler, my great uncle came to live with us. He had just had a stroke and needed more help. I was a single mother and quickly learned the joy of having the older generation in my household. He was such good company for a lonely single mom. I loved cooking his favorite meals and playing 42 with him after my baby was in bed. His death was one of the hardest blows in my life, since he was also my baby, at the end. I spent my life between 2 careers, mental health care and Interior Design. My mother is 84 and has taken very good care of herself, as well as having been very fortunate with her health. My daughter is grown and there are no grandchildren on the horizon! I need someplace to put my nurturing! My families call me Mary Poppins because I try to "find the fun in every task that must be done!" My ultimate goal is to protect the dignity of your loved one.
