First and foremost I am a degreed and certified educator. Children are the core of my passion, but that also spills over into caring for adults and the elderly. As the daughter of an occupational therapist and care facility owner I grew up the notion that we are all created with unique and special differences. That notion inspired my desire to gain experience and education in the field of Special Education. Through volunteerism with Associations like (ARC) and working with private families I have gained an immense amount skills and strategies as well as tricks and tips with dealing with developmental, cognitive, or physical differences. I believe that everyone has the ability to function and learn its just up to the teacher or caregiver to find that missing piece/connector.
