It is with the highest regard and deepest gratitude that I recommend Crystal as a caregiver. Crystal provided exceptional care for my 92-year-old father for nearly a year, and I cannot speak highly enough of her. From the very beginning, she was a beacon of warmth and positivity. Every day, she greeted my father with a cheerful smile and a friendly presence that he looked forward to. Despite his preference to live independently, Crystal made sure that each of his days was meaningful, bringing joy, comfort, and companionship into his life. My father, with his great sense of humor, affectionately referred to her as “the kid,” while she, in turn, called him “Sailor Man,” honoring his service in the Navy with a playful bond they shared. Crystal’s reliability and professionalism were truly extraordinary. With her background as an emergency medical technician, she brought a level of expertise and confidence that made me feel completely at ease knowing she was caring for my father. But what set her apart was her unwavering compassion and dedication. She went above and beyond the call of duty, accompanying my father to the hospital for his IV iron transfusion when his energy was low, and ensuring that he was comfortable during that difficult time. Perhaps most notably, Crystal was there for my father during his final moments. In his last days, when he called out for her, she responded with unwavering love and care. The bond between them was so strong that my father told her, “You are like family to me.” In those final moments, she held his hand, comforted him, and provided the kind of presence and peace that only someone with a heart as big as hers could offer. Her ability to provide such deep comfort at the most critical time speaks volumes about the person she is—someone who has not only the technical medical knowledge but also the kindness and empathy of an angel. I feel incredibly blessed that Crystal was there for my father and for our family during this time.
