About Cristina

I'd describe my personality as funny, easy to talk to and open minded. I like working with animals because it's very rewarding even when things don't go the way you expect. I'm looking for a job that is flexible, as I'm currently trying to rebuild an art gallery/gift store business that closed awhile back. It's in a large campus of entertainment and hospitality businesses so I also help with events in the afternoons and evenings. I started working with animals when I was 22, as an assistant at the Humane Society in Davie, Florida. Before then, and since then, I've been rescuing animals with my family and volunteering with animal rescue groups. In my spare time, I like to do renovations on my school bus turned art gallery. I believe It's the caregivers job to understand what the pet is communicating and act accordingly to soothe and care for them. My pet care skills include playing at their pace, reinforcing good behavior, and getting pets to come out of their shells.
