About Cristina

High qualified teacher with 17yrs of experience. I have taught from Kinder to 2nd and Summer courses to 3rd and 4th students. I currently teach Kinder Dual Language Model in a Texas School. I am teaching Literacy in Spanish along with Science and Social Studies; and Math 100% in English. But for 14 years I focused on teach English focusing on foundational skills, phonological awareness and phonemic awareness, and math. I have my bachelor degree in International Relations coursed in Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara, Jalisco Mexico. I'm a certified in Early Childhood- 4th grade, also in Science of Teaching reading and I have a Masters degree in Bilingual and ESL education in Texas A&M. I have worked with Dyslexia programs like Neuhaus Education Center, I-ready, Lexia and Amplify. I love to teach children to their max potential and treat them with respect and patience. I always provide constructive feedback and challenge them to use high critical thinking skills in their learning.
