About Courtney

I started working with kids when I was a kid myself! I knew when I was in elementary school that I wanted to be a teacher and that's exactly what I did. I'm currently on my second year of teaching in Winston Salem. I coach a basketball team within my school, I work with the Charlotte Football Club on coaching at my school as well. I like to say I'm a jack of all trades with the amount of experience I have with all things! Such as tutoring, hiking, camping, construction, art, and so much more. I have experience with all ages. From middle school all the way down to newborns- I've had a bit of everything! Kids are the thing the world needs and they all have so much to offer. Their safety, thoughts, comfort, and love are all incredibly important in their development and personalities. I earned my Elementary Education degree from Appalachian State University and I am currently teaching. I'm specifically looking for a summer job and evenings/weekends! Can't wait to hear from you!
