About Courtney

Hello, I'm Courtney. I'm Currently pursuing a degree in behavioral science with a minor in psychology. I'm passionate about fostering growth and supporting children, especially those with developmental disabilities. I work daily with fourth graders at KidPower, where my empathy and creativity help me build strong connections. Kids are naturally drawn to my positive energy, often asking to join my classroom because of the fun, nurturing environment I create. In addition to teaching, I incorporate my artistic talents, like drawing, to inspire creativity and self-expression. Outside of work, I care for my younger sisters at home and my boyfriend's grandmother by cooking and cleaning weekly. My strengths include understanding children's needs, creating engaging activities, and maintaining clear communication with parents. I believe every child deserves a safe and loving environment, and I'm committed to providing the best care possible.
