About Courtney

Hi there! My name is Courtney. I am a lover of anything outdoors (currently the beach), reading and running (training for a half marathon!!). I am enrolled at Rhode Island College where I am pursuing my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education. I received my associates degree from CCRI in 2020 for ECE. Previously I have worked as a PreK teacher for 5 years. This opportunity allowed me to care for 20 children while creating a safe and nurturing environment for them to learn in. I believe children excel when in an environment that allows to learn from playing while fostering independence! Encouraging a growth mindset is very important for me to incorporate daily. Thanks to curriculum training I love to come up with creative projects for the children to do! Currently I care part time for three 15-18-month-olds.
