About Courtney

I am a an enthusiastic, friendly, dependable worker with a variety of talents and interests including reading, writing, baking, arts and crafts, ballroom dancing, horse back riding and fencing. I am certified by New York State Department of Education as a Teaching Assistant and have 8 years experience working with infants, toddlers and children 3 weeks to 14 years. I have gained great experience working to help promote growth and development including social, cognitive, fine and gross motor skills with children of all ages. I organize space for activities, meals, and nap-time and supervise recreational activities, which include can reading, trips to the park, library, etc. I am also responsible for working one on one with children with disabilities to provide the additional support they require. I have also obtained certificates and training in First Aid, CPR, AED, Shaken Baby Syndrome, Child Abuse and many others as well as having a basic knowledge of American Sign Language.
