About Courtney

I'd describe my personality as patient, positive, determined! I like tutoring because I love seeing the "light bulb" moment when a student fully comprehends the topic taught! In addition, I LOVE trying new teaching methods and styles to perfectly match a students learning style. I believe anyone can learn no matter how young or old! With enough time, patience, positivity, and determination one can learn anything! I started tutoring in 2022! This was post Covid and I helped students readjust to learning in the classroom. My tutoring focused on literacy and comprehension to aide in helping each student read and test on or above grade level! In my spare time, I'm learning Mandarin Chinese! I'm a level 3 speaker and I'm determined to master speaking, listening, and reading the language! I love learning languages and after trying out different languages I settled on learning Mandarin! Outside of my personal studies I enjoy trying new restaurants with friends!
