I have been a certified lifeguard for three years through the city of Phoenix. I am what you call an advanced lifeguard. This means that I have all the required certifications such as CPR/AED, First Aid, plus my water safety instructor certification. I started teaching lessons to children because it is so important for people to learn how to swim. Not to be blunt, but many children die everyday because of drowning accidents. If I can prevent that in some way I will.
