I am a semiretired special education teacher who has taught over 21 years teaching children from the ages of birth to 21. I am also the proud mother of two grown children. I am now looking to working part time. I have worked with many types of children but my philosophy is to focus on the child's ability not their disability. All children develop at their own pace. My specialty area is developmentally delayed, emotionally disturbed, however I've worked with autistic to the severely profound. I've had ages as young as 4-21.
