About Cornelia

Hi! My name is Kia and I have been working with kids from ages 1-14 over the past 8 years. I have been a full-time nanny, private tutor, camp counselor and ski buddy! As of this winter, I am currently offering part-time care, as well as ski buddy services (including light instruction) for kids of all ages! My goal is to help you relax, and help your kiddo(s) enjoy all Vermont has to offer. Safety is incredibly important to me, which is why I am both CPR and first-aid certified, as well as familiar with outdoor education risk assessment practices. A bit about myself: I graduated from Brown University in 2020 with a BA in history. I have always loved being a mentor and enjoyed the creativity and fun that comes with childcare, likely because I am the youngest of 4 and always wanted a younger sibling myself! I am an avid reader, history nerd, and outdoor enthusiast. I am passionate getting kids outside and fostering a connection with nature, sustainability, and adventure.
