About Corley

I taught for 6 years at the middle/high-school levels. I taught US History/Government, World History /AP Modern World. My AP students produced the highest scores for my school in AP World in 5 years. I am currently an elementary school phonics tutor for students with critical literacy deficits. I have been trained in the Orton-Gillingham Method of instruction. I'd describe my personality as bubbly, warm, and encouraging! I believe that every student deserves to feel confident in the classroom. I'm looking help students with history/social studies/reading/phonics. I started tutoring 6 years ago! In my spare time, I am extremely active! I love anything outside! One thing you should know about me is I am a believer that every student can find their path to success, patience/consistency are the key! My skills include: Instructing students on study/time management tools. Showing students multi sensory methods for studying. Demonstrating organizational techniques.
