About Corissa

I'm a caretaker with almost a decade of experience in looking after children. I've gained the knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children of all ages. My experience includes caring for children from infancy through adolescence, looking after children with special needs and being an Assistant Teacher. I am known for my patient yet outgoing qualities which allow me to handle even the most challenging situations with ease and humor. I'm also creative and imaginative, always finding new and engaging ways to keep children entertained and stimulated. I love to indulge in their imaginations as I learn from them just as much as they learn from me. My favorite thing to do is find things to do outside and prefer to stay away from screens. I am comfortable enforcing household rules and routines, as I believe they provide a sense of structure and security as long as it is within the guidelines.
