Hi! My name is Corinne and I am currently in my first year of Occupational Therapy school at Thomas Jefferson University. I have experience working with disabled adults at Emmaus Community of Pittsburgh. This is a non-profit organization that provides services for intellectually disabled adults. My exact title was Direct Support Professional. There, I gained experience assisting with dressing, bathing, among other personal hygiene tasks. I also would prepare meals for my clients. I provided transportation for them as well and assisted them with getting in and out of the car. I worked there for almost a year and a half while obtaining my undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh. I am looking for a part time position preferably in the evenings during the week and/or weekends. I do have classes during the day until about 3 or 4.
