Hello there, my name is Cori. I worked in a day care in my senior year of high school. I worked part time Monday through Friday after school. Working at this day care, I was able to work with children ranging in ages of one to 10 years old. My daily routine consisted of creating activities for the children to engage in, providing and cooking lunches, and monitoring the safety of each individual in the facility. I currently work as a behavior technician, independently working with children, teenagers, and adults with developmental disabilities. I am working part time, Monday through Friday. I currently assist my clients in increasing their independence. I am required to provide activities and tasks for my clients to engage in. These activities help my clients improve their cognitive functioning, time management skills, gross and fine motor skills, and independence. I am currently looking to further improve my future and career by becoming a full time care giver.
