Corey failed to respond to messages after a job offer. Corey interviewed with us first via phone. We then invited her to our home and conducted an in-person interview. We liked her and made her a job offer pending background check and references, and she accepted. Our family paid for a background check, and we spent a lot of time checking her references. We do have a contract, and she asked to come back to review it before signing; of course we agreed. We never heard from her again. Several texts and emails were unanswered. I asked her to please just let me know whether or not she was still interested, but she didn't have the courtesy to reply. We felt disrespected. Don't waste your time with Corey. She will act interested and then you'll never hear from her again. Also, Corey was privy to a lot of our family's confidential information. I hope she can be professional on that point.
